I was wanting to get a pair of diamond
earrings for my fiancee, when I met Becky at the Chatham Jewelry
& Diamond Company. Not being very knowledgeable about
diamonds, she was very helpful in explaining quality, clarity
and cut. Becky was very good at explaining how a better quality
in a smaller stone could be a better value than a larger stone.
We agreed on a set and they turned out very lovely.
Wanting a diamond pendant later, I returned to Becky and got
the same helpful attitude as before. Again, settling on a very
nice piece. As one might guess, this led to the wedding ring and
she was right there offering the "women's" view and opinion. For
me this was invaluable. We'll continue to work with Becky in the
future, in that she's always on the look for other items she knows
a customer is looking for.
Thanks, Becky!

Hi Rebecca!
Dave P. (of Valu + Pawn) here. I wanted
to let you know that the ring was a hit.... even made her sister
jealous. How often do you deal with a pawnbroker that doesn't
question your price?!?!? I appreciate the quick setting of the
stone and the overnight of the semi-mount........the service is
what made the piece worth the price to me. Thanks so much, and
I look forward to doing business with you again, buying or selling.
Sincerely,
Dave P.

Dear Rebecca,
Scott and I had been dating for about 2
years, and it was our second Christmas together. I had just bought
a house, and busy inside decorating my first Christmas tree. Scott
agreed to put white lights all around the outside of the house.
After quite some time, I came outside to see how he was doing,
and when I turned around and looked up at the house, I realized
he had written something on the roof. It wasn't completely clear,
but I thought he had written "Merry Xmas." But he had
spelled "Merry" wrong, he used an "a" instead
of an "e." I was explaining to him that Merry was spelled
with an e, when I saw he had gotten down on one knee. He said,
"It says Marry Me." When I caught my breath, he was
holding out the most beautiful ring I had ever seen, and asked
me to spend the rest of my life with him. I said yes. We kept
the lights on the roof all through the Christmas season, and it
was the talk of the neighborhood.

We will be married this June, and have enjoyed every minute of
the wedding planning. I love my engagement ring, and it seems
extra special that he helped design it himself. Somehow, it makes
it so much more personal and romantic that he took the time to
consider my taste and style, and create something that we would
enjoy for the rest of our lives. Thank you for all the support
and help you gave him, it took some of the pressure off, and made
one of the biggest moments of his life very enjoyable.
Thanks again,
Lori P.
